Edinburgh is Scotland's fastest growing airport. Opened in 1977 the airport now caters for 6.3 million passengers a year, flying to 55 different destinations with 30 airlines, using its two runways.

Recently Edinburgh Airport underwent a £100 million redevelopment to extend and upgrade the terminals facilities.

How to get to Edinburgh Airport
Located just west of Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh Airport lies within easy reach of the country's main road network taking you throughout Scotland and beyond.

There is easy access to the airport from the two level junction on the A8 midway between the Gorgar and Newbridge roundabouts.

If approaching from the Edinburgh side join the A8 from the city bypass and proceed towards Glasgow. From the North and West you should join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and proceed towards Edinburgh. The airport is clearly sign posted on the A8.
